About NAA

The Norwegian Arbitration Association (NAA) was established in 2025 as an organisation dedicated to lawyers interested in the practice and theory of commercial arbitration. The NAA aims to promote awareness and knowledge of arbitration as a method of dispute resolution, as well as Norwegian and international arbitration law, and to position Norway and the Nordic region as prominent venues for arbitration. The Association organises conferences and seminars and publishes a biannual book titled "Arbitration in Norway". Additionally, the NAA will actively participate in legislative processes to strengthen the legal framework for commercial arbitration in Norway.
